Anlässlich des 1700-jährigen Jubiläums des ältesten christlichen Glaubensbekenntnisses veröffentlicht der Altenberger Ökumenische Gesprächskreis theologische Beiträge zu den drei Glaubensartikeln.Zum 1. Artikel befasst sich u. a. Rainer Stuhlmann mit dem dreifältigen Bekennen des einen Gottes im Alten und Neuen Testament. Der Bochumer Systematiker Christian Link erläutert Gott als Vater, Allmächtiger und Schöpfer. Beim 2. Artikel stehen Sinn und Bedeutung des Homousios an erster Stelle. Es folgen Beiträge zur Menschwerdung, Kreuzigung und Auferstehung Christi sowie zur Eschatologie. Zum 3. Artikel von 381 erläutert Hans-Georg Link die sieben Bestimmungen zum Geist. Der Hauptakzent liegt auf den vier Kennzeichen der Kirche: Einheit, Heiligkeit, Katholizität und Apostolizität.Im Anhang wird das Altenberger Plädoyer zu Pfingsten 2023 abgedruckt, das das Jahr 2025 als ökumenisches »Jahr mit dem Bekenntnis« empfiehlt, sich für eine liturgische Beheimatung des ursprünglichen Bekenntnistextes in Abendmahlsgottesdiensten aller Kirchen ausspricht und nach 1700 Jahren ein synodales »Fest mit dem Bekenntnis« am Stichtag 19. Juni 2025 vorschlägt.[Attractive Otherness of God. The Ecumenical Confession of Nitäa (325-2025)]On the occasion of the 1700th anniversary of the oldest Christian profession of faith, the Altenberg Ecumenical Discussion Group is publishing theological contributions on the three articles of faith.For the 1st article, Rainer Stuhlmann deals with the threefold confession of the one God in the Old and New Testaments. The Bochum systematist Christian Link elucidates God as Father, the Almighty and Creator. In the 2nd article, the meaning and significance of the Homousios have top priority. This is followed by contributions on the incarnation, crucifixion and resurrection of Christ, and on eschatology. For the 3rd article of 381, Hans-Georg Link elucidates the seven provisions on the spirit. The main accent is on the four hallmarks of the church: unity, holiness, catholicity and apostolicity.Printed in the appendix is the Altenberger Plädoyer zu Pfingsten 2023, which recommends 2025 as an ecumenical »Year with Confession«, advocates a liturgical home for the original confession text in communion services of all churches, and proposes a synodal »Feast with Confession« after 1700 years on the appointed date of June 19, 2025.
