Josep Lluís Mateo. In Transit

Our recent past has been shaped by the repercussions of the pandemic (lockdown, isolation, distance, immobility, and so on). This turn of events has clearly influenced architecture: there is renewed demand for a more direct link with the outside, more proximity and more contact. The exhibition presents buildings and projects of this period (2020-23) and and discusses the circumstances under which they were created. This is more than a presentation of the results: this monografie also reflect on the unexpected occurrences that affected (or even, sometimes, explained) the work and the moment.Text: Toni Catany, Gabriel Ramon, Aldo Amoretti.
